Weichen Fan

Weichen is working on supercontinuum/frequency comb generation in integrated photonic waveguides. He obtained BSc in Applied Physics from Northeastern University, China, and MSc in Optics from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences/Xi’An Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include chi(2)/chi(3) nonlinear optics in waveguides, waveguide design and fabrication, and optical sensing. In the spare time he is interested in football and hiking.
